Simple, low calorie snack recipe – Crispy Garlic Roasted Broccoli with step-wise picture recipe. Garlic flavored oven roasted broccoli florets.

    Crispy Garlic Roasted Broccoli

How many of you are Broccoli fans?! I am a huge fan. But that said, I know this vegetable gets a lot of unnecessary hate, but it is so versatile and can be cooked in many ways. I usually use my broccoli in pasta stir-fries or salads or in soups or patties. I recently made crispy garlic roasted broccoli in the oven and every at home loved it. As I made it in the oven, I used very little olive oil and slow roasted the broccoli florets until they turned crispy.

    Crispy Garlic Roasted Broccoli

The magical ingredient in this crispy roasted broccoli is garlic! I love love love garlic and I have used quite a bit of garlic powder in this recipe. First, it imparts a delicious flavor to the roast and second, it helps mask the smell of the broccoli too. To add on to the flavor, I used diced onions too. And the crispy elements – panko bread crumbs and corn flour were added to a mix of assorted spices. It literally takes less than 10 mins to prepare this dish and then put it in the oven, letting it do its thing!

Any way to do this on a stove top instead of oven?

You can do it on stove top, just rotate them every 4-5 mins preferably on cast iron pan.
